Ravi has over a decade’s experience in providing strategic and efficient support and advice on matters related to prosecution and management of IP portfolios, IP enforcement, cyber-crimes, domain name disputes, LEA and other regulatory notices, data breaches, intermediary liability, data protection, and other allied areas.
Ravi and his team regularly assist and represent clients, both domestically and internationally, with online brand protection and enforcement – including recovering domain names and online brand identifiers. His expertise in handling domain name disputes led to a rare Reverse Domain Name Hijacking [RDNH] ruling under the INDRP making it the first ever INDRP matter in the last ten years where RDNH was successfully held and only the second matter ever since the inception of INDRP where a complainant was found engaging in RDNH.
Ravi also frequently advises leading domestic and international companies, including Fortune 500 companies and BigTech, on all aspects of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and associated areas concerning data privacy, protection, and security.
He has represented some of the most well-known organisations before the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center; the National Internet Exchange of India; Trade Mark Registries, and various other tribunals, quasi-judicial bodies and courts across the country.
Ravi has been recognised by leading international publications such as Managing IP’s IP Stars and the Legal 500, the latter of which has featured him as a 'Rising Star' in the Intellectual Property practice area for three consecutive years.
